The Sliver Party

static-nonsense:

i object to the idea that there is a definitive standard of what a ‘normal’ personality is.

i object to the idea that those of us with personality disorders are somehow ‘flawed’.

i object to the idea that we are somehow worth less because of our neurodiversiveness.

i object to the idea that we are all somehow manipulative because we operate in a different fashion than you.

i object to the idea that we are always wrong and those with ‘normal’ personalities are always right.

i object to the idea that personalities can be pathologized.

i object to the idea that we do not deserve love and friendship because we do not meet your standards.

i object to the idea that intense emotion is always wrong, that delusion is always irrational, that introspectiveness is always self-absorbed and that reclusiveness is always about fear.

i object to the idea that you get to define who we are about something you don’t experience.

i object to the idea that we should be ashamed of who we are because you have decided we should be.

i have a personality disorder. and i don’t give a damn.
